Allison is dedicated and compassionate therapist who holds the strong belief that everyone should feel good in their own body. She believes that every client's story and subjective experience are important in healing and recovery and creates treatment plans to suit the unique experiences and needs of each client.
She is a 2200 hour Remedial Massage Therapy graduate and uses her scientific knowledge of anatomy and intuitive knowledge of touch therapy to restore well-being and help clients feel the way that they would like to feel.
Allison uses a variety of assessment Techniques and anatomical knowledge to determine the optimal treatment plan for each client. Emphasizing realistic, attainable goals and the client's desired outcome of treatment.
Using deep tissue, myofascial release, therapeutic massage, active and passive stretching and a variety of other techniques she then works to assist the client in making those changes and meeting their larger goals for well-being.
She has a experience working with stress, postural imbalances, traumatic injury rehabilitation, whiplash, TMJD, overuse injuries and a variety of other concerns and conditions.
Please arrive 20 minutes early for your first appointment to fill out a questionnaire/waiver, or a copy of the waiver can be sent via email upon request. A minimum of 24 hour cancellation notice is required to cancel, reschedule or modify an appointment. Less than 24 hour will result in a charge of 50% of the cost for that treatment. Acupuncture & naturopathic professional services are GST/HST exempt in Canada.
