what motivates you to teach?
Being in service to others as they discover the benefits of a yoga practice. I love helping people step out of the hectic pace of their lives and build connections to their bodies and breath. Seeing students experience the physical and emotional benefits of yoga is the reason I teach.
How would you describe your class style?
I like to give a lot of directional cues and offer modifications for poses to keep students safe and feeling comfortable. My style is energetic but structured and we typically work through a series of progressive movements that lead up to a pinnacle pose.
I encourage you to smile, breathe and stay in the moment during your practice!

I can touch my nose with my tongue and cross 1 eye
WHO INSPIRES YOU AND WHY?
My Nana. Because she lived through incredibly hard life circumstances and overcame them to raise my mom. She is a avid reader, social butterfly and fierce activist for a board variety of social justice issues. She inspires me to be the best version of myself.

My 3 cats because they're adorable and I am a crazy cat lady!

I'd get a big tattoo! (I'm terrified of needles)
