“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” – Margret Mead
what motivates you to teach?
The students! I love helping people realize some nourishment for both the mind and body through yoga. Yoga is an amazing tool that carries off the mat and into life quite beautifully, I am so grateful to be a part of that.
How would you describe your class style?
I like to be flowy and creative with my classes. I think that a healthy balance of challenge, movement and zen can provide the perfect space to find presence in ones practice and distance from (or at very least recognition of) the ego.
What makes you smile?
The people I love, and their happiness. The sun, the mountains, and a good cup of coffee.
What is your spirit animal?
I was once told by a psychic that my spirit animal is a jaguar – which rings true in the sense that I dream of them often. As of lately though, I have discovered my kindred spirit in a rabbit, so I wonder if my spirit animal has changed!
Tell us something quirky about yourself.
I walk on my toes, and have since I was a kid.
If you can have a random job for a day, what would it be?
Astronaut! I would love to experience space.
