What motivates you to teach? My students who come and choose to share a part of their day with me. It's super rewarding when people tell you how much fun they’ve had, how hard they’ve worked along with the positive changes they are seeing in themselves.
How would you describe your class style? Imagine coming into the studio, it’s a little cool, so you feel the need to grab your sweatshirt. But before you can reach for the sweatshirt, the first 10 mins have gone by, your legs are burning like they have never burned before, you are sweaty, and are told that was the warm-up! We all live busy lives – so I want to make the most of our time together, so I will work you hard. I’m not a very serious person, so you often will find us pulsing to fun tunes (it is like a dance party) and my lame jokes.
In 3 words or less how would your friends describe you. Loyal, trustworthy, kind.
Your guilty pleasure? A&W onion rings…the grease, batter and seasoning salt…oh and onions. Perfection. I feel so guilty every time I order them, but so satisfied after.
Most embarrassing moment. This is a daily occurrence. I am clumsy and forgetful. And EVERYONE knows this about me. My team had to spend a whole afternoon helping me look for my lost phone.
If you can have a random job for a day, what would it be? Be an Uber driver? Is that random enough? I’m sure you would meet so many different people and have some interesting conversations.
Favourite place on earth? Anywhere that I’m travelling and experiencing a new place in…although New York, Paris, Maui, and Thailand are high on my list of favourites!
